Education

B.S., 2024, University of Florida

About

I am interested in wildlife behavior and the ways in which behaviors change in response to human activity. My research focuses on carnivore movement, competition, and human pressures on the landscape in Tanzania. I have a strong conservation motivation, and my research aims to assist in conservation efforts by analyzing species interactions and movements across space as well as how these movements shift in response to human pressures. Prior to joining the Schmitz lab, I conducted research on ospreys with the University of Illinois and assisted in the protection of Florida grasshopper sparrows with the Florida State Park Service. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida.
